Power DVD Audio Ripper is ripping software for extracting audio from DVD movies. Output file can be selected as MP3 and WAV formats.
The audio extracting speed is high and the application offers the choice of not playing the DVD (preview) while the audio extraction function goes on, which raises the ripping speed.
The output file can be just the entire movie or it can be splitted by chapters, time or size, obtaining all the audio DVD contents divided in parts that can be merged as the user desires.
Audio sampling mode can be selected in normal mode, high quality or AC3.
To avoid turning on and off to often the DVD drive unit, user can select a RAM portion to act as a temporary buffer, where the application downloads the DVD audio contents by parts and performes the conversion, keeping the DVD drive unit operating all the time and getting higer extraction speed. The user can define how much of the RAM memory is used as a temporary buffer. 10Mb is the default size for it.
